One of the hardest parts of exercise is maintaining a routine. When you work out alone, it's easy to skip a session or two. Then the next thing you know, you haven't exercised in a month! Because most of us can't afford a personal trainer, you can do the next best thing by joining a fitness class. Studies have shown that people who work out in groups or classes are much more likely to stick to their program. Your class will give you a set time, place, and peer group, and you'll find yourself much more motivated to get—and stay—in shape.
