Setting a course around your local mall keeps you out of temperamental weather conditions, and gives you a flat, even track to help you get fit. Mall walking is a perfect group activity, and many malls allow walking groups into the mall before the shops open, for uninterrupted exercise. Wear a pedometer to keep track of your steps, and be sure to invest in a good pair of athletic shoes for this fun, steady activity.
